What's new?

This week Atticus has been on a new ventilator and is doing really well on it.  With any luck he will be off of it late this week or early next week.   He has had one super tiny setback this week.  Basically because he is so little and really not built to be working on his own yet his adrenal system is really tired and is not working the way it should.  This has caused him to be more agitated than normal and to just not be his normal sweet but feisty self.   At first they were worried that he might have another infection setting in, but his lab results showed it was just his adrenals which are treated with hydro-cortisone given through his IV.  Infection would have meant a much bigger setback.   Overall little man is still doing really well considering his size and age.
